Toronto: Rally Against The Fluoridation of Toronto's Drinking Water

Davenport & New Street (Outside Ontario Dental Association Building) ( map)

Local environmentalists are holding a rally against the fluoridation of Toronto's tap water using left over toxic waste from the phosphorus industry. After a successful campaign in Thunder Bay to prevent their public water supply from being fluoridated, Regenesis, a youth-driven environmental and social justice organization has now brought their campaign to Toronto. The target of today's protest is the Ontario Dental Association, who ignorantly promotes the use of fluoridation of public drinking water supplies in Ontario and who tried unsuccessfully to try and influence the municipal government of Thunder Bay to fluoridate their water.
