Jonathan Sas

GreenGTA Video Correspondent

Jonathan Sas is a recent graduate of political science from the University of Toronto where he studied international relations and global environmental politics, and served as the editor of the politics section for University College newspaper, the gargoyle. Jonathan is currently working as a research coordinator in the Health Promotion arm of the Ontario Medical Association.

Jonathan became fascinated with ecosystem conservation through his experiences hiking the Bruce Trail in the summers of his youth. This early passion for the preservation of wild and green spaces snowballed into deep concern for broader threats to the global ecosystem. Discouraged by a lingering sense of powerlessness in the face of the widespread environmental degradation occurring worldwide, Jonathan joined Green GTA as way to help empower Torontonians (himself included) to find innovative yet concrete ways to reduce their environmental footprints.
